Correction: Reena Merchant’s ‘Leading From Within’ to Appear in Updated Edition of Women Gone Wild: Leadership

The chapter attributed to Reena Merchant in the first printing of Women Gone Wild: Leadership was not her final chapter. A corrected edition is in production, and readers who already own the book will receive the corrected chapter at no cost.
What happened
Women Gone Wild: Leadership, the third installment in the four-book Women Gone Wild series, launched on June 23, 2026.
Chapter 13, attributed to Reena Merchant in the first printing, was not her final chapter. Due to a production error, an earlier draft that was not written or approved by Merchant was inadvertently included.
Merchant’s chapter, “Leading From Within,” will appear in the updated edition. In it, she shares her Leading From Within framework, a values-based approach to leadership drawn from her two decades leading user experience teams at companies including Google, YouTube, and Sony PlayStation.
What we are doing about it
We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of editorial integrity and to ensuring that every author’s story is represented truthfully and accurately. An updated edition of Women Gone Wild: Leadership is in production and will be released shortly.
